So, last week on The Lager Room Guys! we had our first annual Christmas In July show. Our “Guest Drinkers” on the show were none other than John “Bruguru” Staradumsky, who does his own version of Christmas In July by enjoying delicious Christmas Ales every day of the month (his own tradition - he posts them all on his popular Facebook Group “Honest Craft Beer Reviews” making all of us very jealous), as well as Tom “The Beer/Whiskey Whisperer” Mulvihill (who you may recognize as our very own “Alec Baldwin” type guest as he’s been on the show many times, as well as filled in as a guest host once)!
We each drank several tasty Christmas offerings, and waxed nostalgic (as often happens when the four of us get together) about Christmases and Christmas Ales of the past! Allow me to make you as jealous as I get when I read Bruguru’s July posts each year -

Side note - Bruguru has one of the best beer glassware collections that I (or anyone for that matter) has ever seen. His glassware choices on this show definitely did not disappoint!
A lengthy discussion was had regarding Anchor Brewing and the closing of their doors, which led into a chat about some other breweries closing their doors, and what we all could do to help prevent some of those occurrences. Something we should all probably think about.
The show was such a fun one to do that we will definitely be making it an annual thing! And look for these four to reprise the Christmas chat on this coming Fall’s Holiday Beer Show, which usually takes place on Thanksgiving Eve!
